Perkins Slade is seeking to recruit two experienced successful Development Executives to grow the business.
The ideal candidate will be:

Currently Perkins Slade is looking to re-create their new business team and this is an ideal opportunity for an individual or team to become an influential part of the organisation.
Prospects include employee share ownership and an opportunity for personal advancement.
While the ideal candidate will be a new business door opener, we will consider existing account executives with a transferrable client portfolio.
KEY ROLES
To win new/renewable corporate business in the upper middle-market segment by:
• Creation of corporate business opportunity pipeline
• Research and investigation of opportunities
• Targeted prospect relationship development
• Prospect interviewing and information gathering
• Developing relationships with other professionals within the market
• Preparation of reports and presentations to prospects, clients and insurers
• To work with Directors, Broking Manager, members of the Account Executive and Broking Teams
• To service and retain clients and develop associated revenue where appropriate
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. New Business Responsibility
• Achieve new business financial targets – personal target to be agreed
• Take personal responsibility for own allocated prospects from major prospect list
• Identify and record new prospect opportunities
• Identifying appropriate methods to contact and develop relationships with prospects
• Demonstrate a focussed and methodical approach
• Co-ordinating and leading new business exercises including:
- Meetings
- Information gathering
- Broking (with Broking Manager)
- Preparation and delivery of reports
- Presentation to prospects
- Blue sheet where appropriate
• Give clients and prospects confidence in ability to understand and meet their business insurance needs.
2. Clients
• Work with the Account Executive and Account Broking Team to introduce to the new prospective client at the earliest possible opportunity and hand over when appropriate
3. Personal Management
• Able to prioritise and manage own workload, keeping the Broking Manager informed of any potential issues in a timely manner
4. Teamwork
• Work well within a dedicated and productive team
• Contribute ideas and opinions to continually improve the team’s capabilities and increase client servicing standards
• Provide assistance to colleagues through sharing knowledge and helping with client and work pressures
