This Policy is unique to Perkins Slade and provides indemnity against civil liability to pay damages in respect of claims arising out of the conduct of the Business made against the Insured and notified to the Company during the Period of Insurance. Protection is provided against:
- General Liability:
Bodily injury or damage to third party persons or property, e.g. to visiting participants. - Products:
Legal liability arising out of products supplied, e.g. food and drink supplied at a weekend or equipment lent or hired to your customers. - Professional Indemnity:
Errors or omissions in advice given, e.g. inappropriate guidance on safety precautions necessary. - Instructors / Leaders:
Protects against their own personal liability by reason of a wrongful act committed in their capacity as Officers of the Business, e.g. failure to implement Health & Safety measures. - Internet Liability:
Legal liability arising out of business conducted over the worldwide web. - Libel & Slander:
For example the Business may issue promotional literature which contains defamatory material or may be accused of discrimination.
Our Policy will provide protection for the Business itself and will include its Officers, Employees and Volunteers automatically. Coaches whilst instructing within the Business are also protected.
The Policy can also be extended to provide Employers Liability protection for your Business, which is a legal requirement should you employ anyone.
All activities are covered, even a social function or fund raising event.
Limits of Indemnity Available:
Civil Liability
- £ 2,000,000 any one occurrence
- £ 5,000,000 any one occurrence
- (Except for Products in the aggregate)
Employers Liability
- £10,000,000 any one occurrence
