This Policy is unique to Perkins Slade and provides indemnity against civil liability to pay damages in respect of claims arising out of the conduct of the Business made against the Insured and notified to the Company during the Period of Insurance. Protection is provided against:

• General Liability:
  Bodily injury or damage to third party property, e.g. spectators or participants.
  
  
• Products:
  Legal liability arising out of products supplied, e.g. food and drink supplied at an event or equipment lent or hired to your customers.
  
  
• Professional Indemnity:
  Errors or omissions in advice given by the Association, e.g. inappropriate guidance on safety precautions.
  
  
• Officers and Officials:
  Protects against their own personal liability by reason of a wrongful act committed in their capacity as Officers of the Association, e.g. failure to provide appropriate insurance to affiliated players, coaches etc.
  
  
• Internet Liability:
  Legal liability arising out of business of the Association conducted over the worldwide web.
  
  
• Libel & Slander:
  For example your Association may issue a newsletter which contains defamatory material or may be accused of discrimination issues.
  
  
  

Our Policy will provide protection for the Association itself and will include its Directors and Officers, Employees, Committees and Volunteers automatically.

The Policy can also be extended to provide Employers Liability protection for your Association, which is a legal requirement should you employ anyone.
