Services: sports insurance: re-enactments and historical societies: civil liability. - Perkins Slade (independent insurance brokers).

This Policy is unique to Perkins Slade and provides indemnity against civil liability to pay damages in respect of claims arising out of the conduct of the Business made against the Insured and notified to the Company during the Period of Insurance. Protection is provided against:

General Liability:
Bodily injury or damage to third persons or property, e.g. to spectators or participants.
Products:
Legal liability arising out of products supplied, e.g. food and drink supplied at an event or equipment sold to your members.
Professional Indemnity:
Errors or omissions in advice given, e.g. inappropriate guidance on safety precautions.
Officers and Officials:
Protects against their own personal liability by reason of a wrongful act committed in their capacity as Officers of the Association, e.g. failure to provide appropriate insurance to affiliated players, coaches etc.
Internet Liability:
Legal liability arising out of business of the Association over the worldwide web.
Libel & Slander:
For example your Association may issue a newsletter which contains defamatory material or it may be accused of discrimination.

Our Policy will provide protection for the Association itself and will include its Directors and Officers, Employees, Committees and Volunteers automatically.

We can also offer the same cover to all your affiliated clubs/coaches/members through their membership. Please contact us for further details.

The Policy can also be extended to provide Employers Liability protection for your Association, which is a legal requirement should you employ anyone.

Limits of Indemnity Available:

Civil Liability

£ 2,000,000 any one occurrence
£ 5,000,000 any one occurrence
(Except for Products in the aggregate)

Employers Liability

£10,000,000 any one occurrence
