I would like to nominate my granddaughter’s Ice Skating coach Andrea McCully from the National Ice Centre in Nottingham.

Andrea has worked very hard with Dana, she is in the NIC skating academy, she was struggling to land her jumps and moves that she needed for her first skating test, then we got Andrea and Dana has come on in leaps and bounds. Andrea works really hard with all her skaters in Nottingham, she has many academy children who she works with and have come on so much.

Andrea has the committment to the skaters and is their friend aswell as their coach, I have found Dana has confided in Andrea regarding her feelings and Dana trusts her 100%.

Andrea is now working on a program with Dana for her first competition and both have worked really hard, not only is Andrea there for the skater but for the parent too and is always here to offer advicee about boots, blades, equipment etc. Dana couldnt have got through the last few months without her and we were so lucky to find her.
