Rob Lowe is an amazing coach for the Hampshire Thrashers American football team, who in just one short year took a group of boys who couldn’t run more than one play into the most together and fun loving team in our league.

Coach Lowe knows how to deal with individuals and treats everyone fairly and the team spirit he instills is widely noticed by everyone we have played. I believe Rob Lowe should be nominated for this prestigious award and even win it. Thank-you

Rob is a motivational, easy-going coach. He led the Hampshire Thrashers Juniors with pride and determination even though we had a no win season. Even though we lost every single game, Rob never lost spirit and always believed we could win the game, he gave us motivational half time speeches and without him we wouldn’t have improved like we had. It was half way through the season and we had just lost 72 – 0 to the London Warriors, our first training session back it was pouring with rain, it was muddy, it was brutal. Rob encouraged us to keep going and the first game back after our raw physical training sessions we managed to get a touchdown against the best team in the country, the London Blitz. I could also add that the Blitz hadn’t given up a touchdown to a team all season, I believe Rob was the reason we got that touchdown. He’s the best coach a team could ask for.
