I would like to nominate Simon Briggs, Ice Skating Coach.

Simon spends a lot of time and energy in coaching children of all ages to ensure they all reach their potential. This can range from learn to skate basic skating to coaching British Champions. He puts the same amount of effort in coaching each individual and never makes anyone feel he or she is less important than another.

He has a good sense of humour and ensures that the kids all have fun time whilst working hard. Simon is also an ISU Technical Specialist and by putting in a lot of time on this he makes sure that all of his skaters are fully aware of all the rules and regulations. His own hard work is always for the benefit of his skaters and the kids and parents appreciate this greatly. He has mentored a number of trainee coaches while they strive to reach their goals.

From a personal point of view he has put a lot of time and effort into coaching my daughter and I think “Simon Briggs – You are the best!”
